Malin Burnham
Former Vice Chairman, Cushman & Wakefield

Malin Burnham was Chairman of Burnham Real Estate until it was acquired by Cushman & Wakefield. He is a native San Diegan who graduated from Stanford University with a BS in Industrial Engineering. Mr. Burnham has been a board member major corporations and private firms, including Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute, UCSD Foundation, the USS Midway Museum, and the Sanford Consortium for Regenerative Medicine. He served as Trustee of Stanford University, and co-endowed the Burnham Moores Center for Real Estate at UCSD. Mr. Burnham was awarded Philanthropist of the Year, Mr. San Diego, and Stanford Real Estate Hall of Fame. He chaired and co-founded 14 organizations in his career. Mr. Burnham is a world-recognized sailor. At age 17, he was the youngest to win a World Championship in the International Star Class. In 1987, he played a leading role in bringing the America’s Cup to San Diego. He is a former co-owner of the San Diego Padres.
