Jenifer Willig
Founder, The Motive
Jenifer Willig is the founder of motive, a social impact consultancy, and Whole World Water, a social enterprise uniting the hospitality and tourism industry to raise money for clean water projects around the world.
Partnering with Nike, Apple, Dell, Microsoft and Starbucks, Ms. Willig spent four years leading tremendous growth at (RED), the organization founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver to fight AIDS in Africa. Through her leadership, (RED) raised $185 million and became a global brand with a social following of 2.5 million. Ms. Willig spent her early career in advertising for global brands such as AT&T, Levi Strauss, British Airways.
She ran the New York office of M&C Saatchi, and TBWA/Chiat/Day in San Francisco. She was named one of the 10 Most Generous Marketing Geniuses by Catchafire and Fast Company’s Generosity Series, and one of 40 women over 40 to watch.
She earned her BA from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
